Submitters have the ability to submit an existing series one has created or can provide a submission proposal which includes photographing a series strictly for CIVILIAN. Anyone is eligible to submit (photographers, wardrobe stylists, makeup artists, etc.). Submitter must provide information regarding the entire team who worked on the submission. When submitting through email, please email us directly at civilian@myepkmedia.com and not under a BCC.

NOTE: All submitters shooting for CIVILIAN are not 100% guaranteed to be featured in an upcoming issue or online feature. Our editorial team reviews every submission and reserve all rights on their selection.

*Pull letters are available upon request after approval of portfolio and mood-board review.

For submission proposals, one must provide the following information:

• Info about submitter (e.g., location, if represented by agency, specialties)
• Link to website/portfolio
• Concept proposal for series (keep to 1-2 sentences)
• Mood board

HOW TO SUBMIT

First, send over low-resolution images (either as separate JPEGs or in one PDF attached to email) for the CIVILIAN team to review. Once approved, editorials are requested to be in the following format:

DIGITAL REQUIREMENTS

Images at 300 DPI resolution as JPG, PMG or TIFF files. Fonts must be embedded. CMYK or RGB mode. Team and clothing and/or beauty credits in an accompanying PDF. Credits should be named, and the name should accompany the image.

WORK FOLDER

Along with the high-resolution PDF, all supported-fonts/images must be accompanied in an Adobe/Mac file (InDesign or Illustrator).
