Built in 1857, the Terrell House still retains many of its original architectural elements, blended beautifully with modern amenities and comforts. After a long day of perusing art galleries and boutiques on Magazine Street or experiencing New Orleans’ incredible music and cuisine, there is no better place to retreat to than the Terrell House Bed and Breakfast.
Along with idyllic views and Southern gourmet breakfasts, during their stay, guests will be treated to complimentary robes, beverages, WiFi, and access to the St. Charles Avenue Athletic Club, a short 10-minute walk from the Terrell House.
You may choose from four different houses, each adorned with period English, French, and American antiques, cypress furniture crafted by local woodworkers, and original artwork from local artists. The main house boasts porches, galleries, and balconies framed with ornate cast iron. Additionally, guests may relax in the courtyard or enjoy the elegantly-decorated double parlors.
The Terrell House is also a venue for upscale weddings and special events that can accommodate 20 to 120 guests. Host the perfect ceremony, reception, or rehearsal dinner in the romantic parlors and the sprawling brick courtyard. The gorgeous event space offers in-house catering, and their epicurean chefs will work with you to create the perfect menu for a perfect event.
